20.decembrī pulksten 19:00, Jelgavas Ledus hallē notiks ikgadējais labdarības pasākums – hokeja spēle “Uzbur svētku prieku”, kuru aizvadīs HK “Zemgale/LLU”, Jelgavas Ledus sporta skolas (JLSS) Zemgales Amatieru hokeja līgas (ZAHL) apvienotā komanda pret Latvijas Hokeja līgas (LHL). Komandu sastāvā būs arī sabiedrībā zināmas personības.
Spēles starplaikos skatītājus sagaida muzikāli priekšnesumi, dažādi konkursi uz ledus, bērnu izklaides, kā arī daiļslidošanas un sinhronās slidošanas paraugdemonstrējumi.

Labdarības pasākuma mērķis ir iepriecināt, uzmundrināt, atbalstīt Zemgales reģiona pansionātos un aprūpes centros mītošos seniorus un jaunāka gada gājuma cilvēkus.
Jelgavas Ledus sporta skolas direktors Aivars Zeltiņš: “Ziemassvētki ir laiks, kad vairāk atceramies par grūtībās nonākušajiem, tādēļ par tradīciju jau kļuvis tas, ka īsi pirms gadu mijas rīkojam šādu pasākumu uz ledus, kur mazi un lieli var parādīt savas prasmes hokeja laukumā un atbalstīt līdzcilvēkus”.
Latvijas Hokeja līgas izveidotājs Edgars Svencis: “Mums ir liels prieks, ka mūsu līgas (LHL) trīs gau pastāvēšanas laikā organizējam jau 3.labdaības spēli, otro kopā ar Jelgavniekiem. Tas mums ir liels gods un prieks, jo kopā mēs varam izdarīt daudz labu darbu. Aicinu visus piedalīties šī gada labdarības spēle “uzbursim svētkus kopā”!
Zemgales Amatieru hokeja līgas orgkomitejas vadītājs un galvenais tiesnesis Visvaldis Danenbergs: “Ziemassvētki ir laiks, kad dalīties mīlestībā ar sev mīļajiem un tuvajiem, bet atcerēsimies, piedomāsim un veltīsim savus laba vēlējumus un mīlestību arī tiem, kam tās nepieciešams daudz vairāk”
