Grandiozais mačs notiks 17.decembrī plkst. 16:00 Jelgavas Ledus hallē! Ieeja uz spēli par ziedojumiem.
Labdarības spēlē hokejisti un līdzjutēji sarūpēs līdzekļus Bērnu slimnīcas fondam insulīna sūkņu iegādei.
Labdarības spēlei būs 3×15 minūšu periodi, bet starplaikos izklaides programma skatītājiem: konkursi uz ledus ar balvām, bērnus izklaidēs Jelgavas pilsētas talismans “Alnītis”, “BTA Lācis”, “Čili Pipars” ar draugiem. Būs arī dīdžejs ar hokeja dziesmām, kā arī daiļslidošanas un sinhronās slidošanas paraugdemonstrējumi.
Edgars Svencis, Latvijas Hokeja līgas izveidotājs: “Sākumā gribējām organizēt šadu spēli, kur tiekas mūsu līgas izlase pret kādu virslīgas klubu, bet beigās izprātojām, ka varam “nošaut divus zaķus ar vienu šāvienu”, pasniegt šo spēli skatītājiem ar pievienoto vērtību – kādam palīdzot. Esmu jau organizējis labdarības spēles, tikai basketbolā, kurā tikās mūziķi, dziedātāji un slavenības. Hokejā to ir grūtāk organizēt, jo daudzas no Latvijas slavenībām nemaz nemāk slidot, tad arī beigās palikām pie šāda formāta, kas būs ļoti interesants, jo mūsu līgas spēlētāji daudzi ir spēlējuši Virslīgā un daži pat arī jauniešu un pieaugušo nacionālajās izlasēs. Šādai spēlei ir liela nozīme arī hokeja popularizēšanai, apliecinot hokejistu cēlos mērķus, saliedējot hokeja vidi un skatītājus”.
Aivars Zeltiņš, Jelgavas Ledus sporta skolas direktors: “Jebkuram cilvēkam, arī hokejistam – labdarība ir cēls mērķis. Spēlē pret LHL izlasi iesaistīsim ne tikai Virslīgas komandas “Zemgale/LLU” hokejistus, bet arī sporta skolas bērnus un jauniešus. Spēles mērķis nav sacensties vai noskaidrot labāko, bet gan vākt līdzekļus labdarībai. Jelgavas pilsētā hokejs ir viens no vadošajiem sporta veidiem, tāpēc sabiedrības interese un atbalsts ir liels un uz tādu ceru arī 17.decembrī. Lai hokeja līdzjutēji nāk uz šo spēli ar gaišām domām, labu grastāvokli, bet hokejisti parūpēsies, lai būtu baudāms pasākums. Aicinu hokeja draugus un citus interesentus nākt uz spēli ar mīkstajām rotaļlietām. Pēc pirmajiem gūtajiem vārtiem metīsim rotaļlietas uz ledus. Tā būs dāvana Ziemassvētkos Jelgavas maznodrošinātajām ģimenēm!”.
Visi labdarības spēlē saziedotie līdzekļi tiks novirzīti Bērnu slimnīcas fondam insulīna sūkņu iegādei. Tā ir pusautomātiska ierīce, kas visu diennakti nepārtraukti ievada zemādā īslaicīgas darbības insulīnu. Izmantojot šo ierīci ar cukura diabētu sirgstošam cilvēkam nav nepieciešamas četras, piecas un pat vairāk insulīna injekcijas dienā.
Ar cukura līmeņa nepietiekamību asinīs arvien biežāk slimo mazi bērni, kuriem aktīvā dzīvesveida un vecuma īpatnību dēļ ar dalīto insulīna injekciju režīmu ir daudz grūtāk sasniegt stabilus cukura līmeņus. Valsts neapmaksā ne insulīna pumpja iegādi, ne izdevumus par katetriem, tāpēc LHL un HK “Zemgale/LLU” kopā ar hokeja faniem centīsies palīdzēt ar nepieciešamās summas saziedošanu.
Latvijas Hokeja līga ir šogad izveidots projekts ar mērķi apvienot vairākas pašmāju pusprofesionāļu, amatieru un iesācēju komandas dažāda ranga čempionātos. LHL galvenais uzdevums ir nodrošināt čempionātu norisi, piedāvājot iesaistīties sakārtotā un strukturētā hokeja projektā, modernizējot līdzšinējo dažādu reģionu un pilsētu turnīru esošo datu bāzi un krietni uzlabojot šo čempionātu rīkošanu.
Latvijas Virslīgas hokeja klubs “Zemgale” dibināts 2002.gadā un ar dinamisku izaugsmes periodu ir sasniedzis nopietnu spēlētāju lomu hokeja industrijā valstī. 2013.gadā komanda uzsāk sadarbību ar Latvijas Lauksaimniecības Universitāti un ieguva papildinājumu savam nosaukumam – “Zemgale/LLU. Šobrīd klubam ir gan Virslīgas komanda, gan bērnu un jauniešu hokeja skola, ka arī veterānu komanda. HK “Zemgale/LLU” galvenais treneris kopš 2016.gada augusta ir Haralds Vasiļjevs.
